This is an amazing buy for a stunning diamond stimulant. "Desert Diamonds" are found in the Saudi Desert. They are a REAL semi-precious stone in the same family as citrine and amethyst. They must be tested with a diamond tester to distinguish them from a diamond. The hardness of this stone is 7 1/2 on the Mohs scale (diamonds are a 10). To the naked eye, or even through a jeweler's loupe, they look the same as a diamond. This is set in 18k solid gold. (Compare at 10 X this price.)
Rating of the 4 Cs for this stone are: color=G (almost colorless; Cut= round; Clarity = VS1 (Very slight inclusions); Carat weight=1/2 total carats [each earring is 1/4c] OR j1 tcw [1/2 carat in ear earring] (this stone weighs less than a diamond so it is slightly larger (15%) than a 1/4 carat diamond would be)
